Print for Ukraine

Helping in the best way I know how. This is a drawing of Ukrainian dancers performing the Mazurochky dance, from the Polissia region of Ukraine. All proceeds from the sales of this print goes to the British Red Cross Ukraine Appeal. It costs £40 and is size A3, printed on high quality thick paper with archival inks.

Ukraine is a country with a rich, deep history, language, music, food and culture. It cannot be subjugated and torn apart.

Thanks to this Folk Costume Blog for the advice on correct Ukrainian dress. I wanted to get the costume and defiant dance pose right. I’ve never been to Ukraine but I’ve always wanted to go, and I have a deep admiration for this huge and beautiful country.
